After a highly successful inaugural run earlier this year, Dubai Fashion Week is coming back for Spring/Summer 2024 — just as everyone returns from Paris Fashion Week. Co-founded by Arab Fashion Council and Dubai Design District Dubai Fashion Week is set to present the pinnacle of fashion and creativity from the region as it joins the international fashion calendar alongside New York, London, Milan, and Paris.
Taking place from October 9 – 15, 2023, the week-long affair is sure to attract the most fashionable crowd from around the region, and beyond. In addition to regional favorites such as Michael Cinco, Lama Jouni, Mrs Keepa and more, this year will also see a Carolina Herrera collection designed by Wes Gordon on the esteemed Dubai runway.
“Dubai made a grand entrance onto the global fashion stage with the launch of Dubai Fashion Week,” said Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of Dubai Design District, before adding, “Carolina Herrera’s participation in Dubai Fashion Week is a testament to the growing significance of Dubai as a global fashion hub and influence. As our region continues to evolve into a powerhouse for fashion and luxury, Dubai Fashion Week is pivotal in highlighting the talent and creativity within this vibrant and diverse region and bringing new fashion and creative experiences to audiences here.”
